About the Event

All are welcome to join our on-going Mussar study group led by Rabbi Eric Gurvis. Mussar is a longstanding tradition within Judaism that examines and cultivates our "soul traits" or Middot, such as compassion, patience, judging others favorably, and resiliency, to help us become the best version of ourselves. Whether you've explored Mussar in other settings, or you are just hearing about it now, we welcome you to participate!

Our Hevreh Va’ad meets every other week, with the summer session beginning June 3. In between the group sessions we meet with a Chevruta (friend), our study partner. If you are curious, join the June 3 class and check it out! Stay for just one session or register for the entire summer session. For more information, click the link below or contact Ellen Herman, Jim Caron or Hevreh through info@hevreh.org.

Rabbi Gurvis is Director of Chaverim and Engagement for The Mussar Institute and leads Mussar Va’adim (groups) across the Boston area, as well as here at Hevreh.

Cost: $250 for the Summer Session
