Shalom & Sababa

What a summer we are having! In just a few short weeks, we’ll be welcoming Rabbi Mori Lidar to Hevreh for a two week residency with us as part of the Golden Hanassi Fellowship through Hebrew Union College. Rabbi Lidar will be with us at Hevreh from July 22-August 3, spending his time getting to know Reform Judaism in the United States through the lens of life at Hevreh. 

I hope you will plan to join us at a special community welcome event being planned in honor of Rabbi Lidar’s arrival. Shalom & Sababa on Thursday, July 24th at 6pm is going to be a fabulous summer evening of food, community and conversation. We want to show Rabbi Lidar some real Hevreh hospitality, so we hope you’ll plan to come and bring you favorite cold vegetarian and/or dairy summertime dish for a communal potluck dinner.
