Hevreh Hikes takes us to a local favorite: Benedict Pond.
We’ll meet at Benedict Pond at 12:30 p.m. for a picnic lunch together (bring a bagged lunch & drink). Then we’ll head to the trailhead, starting at the beach parking lot on Benedict Pond Road. The loop around the lake is 1.8 miles. For those wanting an additional challenge, we'll hike up to The Ledges! For those hiking up to the Ledges, the total mileage is 3 miles. We’ll capture the beautiful mountain & lake views and see the start of fall foliage. As always, sturdy shoes and water are recommended. Bring trekking poles if you wish. See you on the trail.
