Elul Lunch n' Learn: Deep Dive with Jonah
During the month of Elul, we'll mine the Book of Jonah for personal meaning in a deep dive read of this masterful book.
Time & Location
Aug 31, 2022, 11:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Great Barrington, 270 State Rd, Great Barrington, MA 01230, USA
About the Event
The Book of Jonah, traditionally read at Yom Kippur, explores the themes of transgression and forgiveness. At its core, it asks if humanity has the ability to change. Moreover, the book's author seems to wonder if God too can change? By diving deep into the Book of Jonah, we will explore these major themes as they are in the book itself and how they resonate with our own lives.Â
During the month of Elul we are called into deep reflection on the year gone by and on who we are setting ourselves up to be. Come study the Book of Jonah as a way to engage in that soulwork.Â
All are welcome. No experience is necessary. We will be meeting in person, and virtual access is available. Please contact info@hevreh.org to receive the Zoom log-in information.
