Experiencing Life at Hevreh

“Teach us to number our days, that we may attain hearts of wisdom,” the Psalmist writes. We are taught to cherish every day.  Often, as we approach significant milestones of growth and transition, we feel called to recognize those moments. Such is the role of ritual in our lives.  Our Hevreh community and our rabbis consider it a great blessing to be with families during significant lifecycle moments.

The Hevreh community is here to celebrate with you in times of joy, and to be a comfort when confronted with challenge or heartache.  The rabbis, staff, and leadership at Hevreh are here to be with you, whether it be for resources, lifecycle officiation, or a caring ear.

Please be in touch with Rabbi Hirsch or Rabbi Gordon to talk more about:

Baby Naming & Brit Milah (Ritual Circumcision)
B’nai Mitzvah
Weddings
Significant Birthdays
Anniversary Celebrations & Renewal of Vows
Illness
Funerals
Or other major milestones that you would like to bless and ritualize

The Psalmist recognized that we often celebrate the heights, and that we need to mark the valleys we encounter, as well.  We are here to be with you regardless of the situation. We love to celebrate through ritual, and sometimes the function of ritual is to aid healing.  If you are facing challenges in fertility, ongoing illness, divorce, the loss of a loved one, or other trials, please reach out. Hevreh, as a sacred community, is here for you.
