On Saturday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. Kris Holloway will speak on "Monique and the Mango Rains." 

Holloway-Bidwell presents a compelling, inspirational and wonderfully moving account of her two year experience assisting Monique Dembele, a poor village midwife in rural West Africa. The story beautifully touches on the poignant issues of poverty, underdevelopment and the grave difficulties of women in childbirth. An exquisite story of cross-cultural friendship, hope and the extraordinary contribution Monique made to the people of her village.

Both talks are open to the public and free of charge.
